Hey everyone, I can't believe that the camp is over, we leave tomorrow for home. This camp has been such a great experience and I have seen God work in so many ways. I have especially seen him work in the life of one particular camper who I will refer to as S for privacy purposes. S was one of my roommates and when he first came to the camp, the extent of the English that he spoke was yes and no. As the camp progressed he began to open up and speak in English more and more. By the time camp was nearing a close he had even started speaking about God. Although I am not totally sure where he stands with the Lord he is on the right path. I have seen a longing for God in him during the time I had to speak with him. In addition to seeing the growth of others I have also seen growth in myself. I have had the opportunity to witness God's creation like never before in the form of mountains, lakes, and beautiful sunsets. This along with awesome fellowship with other Christians has helped me to grow in my faith and deepen my relationship with him. This experience has truly left an impact on my life and I am truly grateful for this opportunity that God has given me.
